While working at Seel’s Outboard and talking to customers, Alexander recognized a clear need in the local market: many dock owners did not need full rebuilds, but they had trouble finding someone to handle basic repairs. Tideland Dock Repair was created to meet that need with honest service, fair pricing, and a focus on straightforward repair work.
With a strong work ethic and lessons of craftsmanship passed down from his father and grandfather, Alexander is committed to serving Lowcountry dock owners with integrity, clear communication, and dependable workmanship.
In 2023, Alexander moved from Mount Pleasant, SC to McClellanville, SC, where Tideland Dock Repair is based. On Sunday mornings, you will find him at Seacoast in McClellanville. Otherwise, he'll be enjoying life in the Francis Marion, on the water in Cape Romain Wildlife Refuge, or playing the guitar.

Kristy works behind the scenes to make sure that dock owners from the Isle of Palms to Pawleys Island and beyond know that Tideland Dock Repair is their go-to contractor for basic dock repairs. Because Alexander's time is primarily spent on-site doing repair work, she also fields calls and emails to make sure customers receive prompt service.
As a Lowcountry native, Kristy grew up with a love for the water and takes advantage of every opportunity to be on it. She says it is her favorite way to enjoy the immense beauty of God's creation.
